The 🔮 symbol means that the rate shown is an estimate based on earlier "60-minute slot" auctions published earlier - around 10 AM each day.
In other words, while it gives you an idea of what tomorrow’s outgoing rates might be - and can help you decide whether to shift energy export from today to tomorrow - it is not the final rate that Octopus will pay you.

Octopus uses the results of the Epex Spot 30-minute slot auction, which are published at 4 PM each day. If you want to know the exact rate that will be applied, please check back after 4 PM.

Also, if you see a suffix like (E) or (N) next to the rate, that indicates we don't use the average as we have only a single source of the data: (E) stands for Epex Spot and (N) stands for Nordpool.
Otherwise, the app will show you the average of both data sources.
