Agile Rates
Agile Rates is a free, not-for-profit tool for following the Octopus Energy Agile tariffs in Great Britain. It gathers the next-day wholesale auction data published by Nord Pool and EPEX SPOT, and then applies Octopus Agile's pricing formula for your region to work out the rate for every half-hour slot.
Choose your region in the bar at the top of the page to see the rates that apply where you are. The region selector only appears on the pages that show rates; the informational pages do not need it.
Agile Import is the price you pay for taking energy from the grid. It follows the Agile pricing formula for your region, including the peak charge that applies to slots that start between 16:00 and 18:59 UK time.
Agile Outgoing is what you are paid for exporting energy back to the grid. It uses the same underlying wholesale data with the Outgoing formula, and the two pages are deliberately kept separate so each rate is read on its own.
Every rate is worked out from the wholesale prices behind it. If you'd like to see the raw data from these sources, you can check the Show source rates box located under the table on the Import and Outgoing pages. It adds a column for each source so you can compare them against the final rate.
